Jim’s professional background includes many financial management positions: Vice President of WAF, Associate Manager of Loma Linda University Foundation, Treasurer-Controller / Associate Director of Northern California Association of Seventh-Day Adventists and Associate Controller for the Central California Conference Association of Seventh-Day Adventists.
“After 26 years of employment outside of the Adventist Denomination, it is a pleasure to be united again with my college classmate, Jim Brown, to help advance the work of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. My parents, Herman and Janice Bauman, gave so much of their lives for this church and it is a special pleasure to be involved in supporting the mission that they devoted their lives to in an effort to hasten the second coming of Christ.
“My life’s calling has been to help advance Christ’s wonderful ministry by assisting donors to maximize the impact of their gifts.”
At a young age, he was introduced to Rotary through his father’s involvement in Camarillo, CA and today serves as an Assistant Governor for District 5495 in Arizona. He also volunteers in his spare time as a sworn Arizona Ranger providing uniformed law enforcement support all throughout the state. His Grandparents Dr. Samuel and Leona Fritz began the “Committee of 500” for the Voice of Prophecy back in the 1960s, and while they both are resting until Christ comes again, he attributes his philanthropic genes to their faithful volunteer work.
Richard Harrison serves as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Western Adventist Foundation. He is a licensed California Attorney as well as a Certified Specialist in Planned Giving. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Trinity Law School as well as an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Irvine. He has previously served as Attorney and Trust Officer for the Southeastern California Conference, focusing on fiduciary management.

Bo has more than twenty-five years of experience in management. Thirteen of those years were spent serving the Pacific Union Conference.

Claudine brings her expertise and years of experience to her position after previously working as Associate Treasurer and as a Trust Officer for WAF. She has also served as Assistant to the then WAF Vice President, James H. Brown.
